Software Solution Architect
Matthew brings experience and leadership earned from twenty years of decorated commissioned service in the U.S. Navy. He is an expert in oceanography, environmental and geospatial analysis, and operational planning and decision-making, with a broad knowledge base gained through advanced degrees in mathematics, oceanographic and atmospheric physics, and national defense and strategic studies. A member of the U.S. Naval War College’s prestigious Gravely Group Advanced Research program, Matthew’s research focused on the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning into military knowledge management, operational and strategic planning, and distributed, asynchronous operational coordination. His recent work includes designing and developing innovative systems and solutions that support training and research within the crisis-response decision domain using modern web application front end systems driven by cloud-native databases and custom API data transport.
