Bio:

Matthew McKenzie brings experience and leadership earned from twenty years of decorated commissioned service in the U.S. Navy. He is an expert in oceanography, environmental and geospatial analysis, and operational planning and decision-making, with a broad knowledge base provided through pursuing advanced degrees in mathematics, oceanographic and atmospheric physics, and national defense and strategic studies. Matthew conducted research as a member of the U.S. Naval War College’s prestigious Gravely Group Advanced Research program, with a focus on the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning into military knowledge management, operational and strategic planning, and asynchronous coordination. Recently, he has spent time designing and developing innovative systems and technologies that support improved decision-making, including multiple full-stack, cloud-based applications that support training and research within the crisis-response decision domain.
